PortraitsThese are some of my older portraits. More recent samples can be found at www.skipsportraits.com. I like to work with oils, but I also enjoy doing pencil sketches. Any kind of drawing is a relaxing way to try to capture things on paper, and not as difficult as you might think, if you keep in mind that every good artist has a good eraser.
I am able to do about one oil portrait a month, and pencil portraits within a week or so, using photos sent to me as attachments, or by regular mail. If you came to this site looking for a house painter, and would rather have a portrait, please call or e-mail me. There are no deposits or charges involved until the portrait is done.
